I love working out. It’s one of the key pillar in my life. I can see a big difference on period when I regularly workout and periods that I don’t.
I do feel better physically, but to me, the most important part is the mental impact. I feel more relaxed, happier, mentally stronger and proud of myself for prioritizing my well being!
I have always been active but like a lot of people, covid made me realize the importance of working out regularly. Ever since, I’ve started being more strategic about it and using workout plans.
For the last few years, I’ve been thinking of transitioning my daily workout routine from after work to before work and that means getting up early.
As with a lot of changes, the transition takes time. I wasn’t expecting to just one day start working out in the morning. I have slowly been working out in the morning, first one or twice a week and now more regularly.
I started waking up earlier, and am slowly transitioning. I usually manage to do an early workout on Monday and Tuesday (starting around 6 or 6:30am) and the other days a little bit later, usually more around 7am.
I have noticed that it does give me a lot of energy for the rest of the day and makes stressful days easier.
I will give more updates on this challenge in the next few months.
